Meerab slept near the couch while holding the gifts given by her Murtasim. When the sun rays peaked in from the window she stirred in sleep and opened her eyes. She rubbed her eyes and woke up by looking here and there and it was when she looked at her lap the birthday presents then she remembered everything about the last night. Tears welled up again in her eyes.
